Free guided walks around Historic Meads with local guide, Kim Adams, on the first Wednesday of every month from May to October. Walks start at 2pm outside the Cadence Cafe in the Helen Garden and last around 90 minutes. The walks will go ahead whatever the weather and there’s no need to book, just turn up!
The walks include the Italian Gardens, St Johns church, Meads Village and many of the wonderful ‘Meads mansions’ and the people who lived in them.
Kim also offers free walks along Eastbourne Promenade on Sunday mornings starting outside the Lifeboat Museum. Dates can be found on his website www.eastbournewalks.com
